The Chehalem Mountains AVA of Oregon’s Willamette Valley are known to grow some of the best Pinot Noir grapes in the world.  Within this AVA, at the crest of the Laurel Ridge lies the small, family-owned Laurel Crest Vineyard overlooking the beautiful Laurel Valley with Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainer standing in the background.  Pinot Noir grapes consisting of the Dijon 777 clone can be found growing in the ancient basalt and loess soil of the Laurelwood Series which gives the  distinct personality and complex flavors that are reflected in our wines.
